How To Create Your Free Offer – eBook

Recently I talked about how to put together a short report, guide or ebook as a free offer to entice visitors to provide their email.

I thought I’d go through the steps in more detail for you as someone mentioned they needed a little more information.

Ask, and you will receive!

There is also a checklist you can download from here: http://redhotinternetmarketing.com/blog/chklst

If you spot any improvements, let me know!

  1. This is a wonderful checklist for creating a new product. Great job on this. I use the number thing a lot, but I normally don’t pick the number first. I just pick a topic and find key points then count them up. I like to use 10 but it doesn’t always workout.

    1. I’ve used 9.5 before. Makes people more curious sometimes. 🙂

Do what works for you. The key thing is to do it and yet some get hung up on being ‘just right’. It’s more important ot get it out there. Can always refine later if needs be.

  2. I would like to make a suggestion.

Instead of offering the entire video, why not break it up into two parts?

I see you have a checklist hidden behind an opt-in form. I would offer the other half of the video along with it.

This is a much higher enticement for people to opt-in to get the remainder of your video tips and checklist.

    Just a thought. 🙂

  3. Mel,

This video in itself is a great resource that you could easily charge for. You did an amazing job showing us how to create an ebook. You sure you’re just starting to make videos? LOL

Thank you for sharing this with us!

    1. Thanks Cynthia. I’ve done a few videos before but always learning how to do them better! Glad you found this one valuable.

  4. Great video. I loved the intro, it makes it sound so professional. The video makes the creation process seem so easy. I already have my idea for a free offer, especially after focusing so much on topics this past month. 🙂
