Free PLR doesn’t cost a dime to get hold of so, it can\u2019t be valuable, right?<\/p>\n

Ah, tempting it is. Free PLR. We love free, don\u2019t we? Don\u2019t you gravitate to the freebie giveaways handed out at the train station from those fit looking promotion gals or guys? I know I have. There are times where that has paid off and there are times I wish I hadn\u2019t elbowed my way in for my free handout.<\/p>\n

Same with PLR. Sometimes, free PLR is more effort than it\u2019s worth.<\/p>\n

Ask yourself why it\u2019s free to start with!
\n\u2022 A site may give away PLR free as a sample of their content to entice you to buy. Just like the free samples at the supermarket.
\n\u2022 Perhaps free PLR is given away in exchange for an email address to add to the database. That\u2019s legit and good business \u2013 in effect the giving away of your details in exchange for the free PLR is the \u2018cost\u2019.<\/p>\n

Keep alert to anything that\u2019s offered for \u201cfree\u201d – articles, eBooks, reports, audio, or even software. The offer is not altruistic. Usually there is a cost in there, even if it is simply providing your name and email address.<\/p>\n

Even if you don\u2019t pay anything tangible like money for a freebie, quite often the cost will come in terms of trying to turn a sow\u2019s ear into a silk purse \u2013 trying to rewrite a boring or badly written article or eBook just isn\u2019t worth your time (and we know that\u2019s not free!)

\nNot everyone can afford the money though and I get that so free is their best option and they have time enough to invest. It may still be viable in some cases to quickly rework an article pack so that it\u2019s at least useable. At worst the freebie may stimulate some ideas or give you a structure to write your own. Maybe you can even spin off a different product using the freebie as a base.<\/p>\n

In that sense, it won\u2019t hurt to take a look at some of it if nothing else but to see if you can makeover an article pack and redo it into an eBook or vice versa \u2013 turn an eBook into several articles. All you invested was your time.<\/p>\n

Just don\u2019t let yourself get bogged down in it. You may end up spending more time rewriting than it would take to have written it from scratch in the first place! And as the saying goes: time is money.<\/p>\n

Limit your time \u2013 that\u2019s always a good rule of thumb. You my even go so far as to use an egg timer when you start a rewrite. That way you aren\u2019t hacking away at something for an hour that might have originally taken 30 minutes for you to write in the first place!<\/p>\n

So where do you find free PLR? It\u2019s as simple as searching for \u201cyour niche + free PLR\u201d or just \u201cfree PLR\u201d and see what\u2019s out there. You will no doubt have to do some weeding to see what\u2019s worth your time. But once in awhile you can find some very good stuff that will do the trick just fine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
